Among the historic villas of greatest cultural interest in Rivoli is Villa Fiorito, a composite palace located in via Al Castello n. 28, dating back in its oldest parts to the 17th century. The building stands near the ancient Romanesque bell tower (13th century), one of the last remains of the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria della Stella to have survived the demolitions of 1799. Over time, the Villa has undergone numerous changes of ownership, before belonging to the Lanza family at the beginning of the 20th century and finally being acquired by the Fiorito family, who have maintained ownership up to the present day. The main entrance on the street is immediately striking, consisting of a large portal framed by two large marble columns surmounted by ancient vases and late Baroque gables. The main internal staircase is clearly of 18th-century style, with a parapet and balustrade in natural stone. The park, created as a hanging garden on brick arches, for the exclusive use of the Villa, is home to the five-storey bell tower, owned by the municipality. After a careful restoration carried out at the beginning of 2000, the bell tower was reopened to the public, allowing you to enjoy a splendid view of the town from its 30 meters. The bell tower can be accessed directly from Via al Castello. The renovation and careful restoration works of the Villa (main body) and the Casa Giardino (secondary body) involved the subdivision of the rooms aimed at creating luxury apartments, in some of which the frescoed ceilings are still clearly visible. The monumental staircase that connects the 3 floors of the villa has been maintained in its authenticity, recovering and restoring the fake decorated tapestry and the trompe-l'oeil paintings, the floors, the frescoes, the wall decorations, the railing and the doors, which have regained light and splendor. The facades have been restored to their original state, highlighting the valuable details obscured by time. The apartments created in the Villa are accessible from the main courtyard via the atrium on the ground floor by taking the monumental staircase, or via a glass elevator located in the veranda created from the ancient portico on the facade. The large accommodation on two levels has a living room with fireplace, eat-in kitchen with adjoining covered terrace with ancient cast iron columns and a priceless view over the rooftops of Rivoli, dining room (possible solution with study corner), bathroom, laundry room and closet. On the attic floor, with access from a private internal staircase, there are four bedrooms and a bathroom, with the possibility of installing a personal elevator. There is the possibility of customizing the internal distribution, within the limits of the constraints imposed by a historic residence. Internal finishes from high-quality specifications are proposed (parquet / porcelain stoneware) predisposition for internal air conditioning and burglar alarm. Possibility of purchasing a garage equipped with an electric door.--6fd5c9cd25d3232a756e93be2affd7a3!.
